Hello everyone,

Well, my schooling seems to be becoming quite solid, I'm soon going to be a Knight(assuming I did well on the trials) and am ready for my padawan, I have set myself up with a nutrition and fitness program and now I am looking for something else.

I have been offered a chance to join the interact club at school by my teacher. The interact club is a club that helps raise money and does work for different causes. I look at it as a chance to start giving in the community. Though, I am anxious and unsure about it.

Also, I have had thought of branching out on the internet. I will remain at the RJK and remain loyal at that, but I feel a nudge from the force telling me to pursue another Jedi order as well. In fact, I had a dream last night that I believe may have been a sign from the force. In the dream I was meeting in a private chambers speaking with several ministers of several religions about "what we should do", apparently in my dream something terrible had happened and we were the ones who could help. In my dream, I was a minister of Jediism.

Any advice on this is welcomed. Thank You.

Cody

Greeting Codys

I am glad to hear that your training is well and congratulations to your nearly becoming a Jedi Knight. I think it is a great idea that your teacher has asked you to go and im sure he thiks you are capable of helping out otherwise he would not have asked you. You should go for it as it may help your community yes and also it will help you more with training i should think. Branching out is great idea it is making the Jedi world more active and known and we could do with finding more Jedi nor training more.

Thank you for your input, Jayzin. Does anyone else have some advice?

It seems you have the first few sections covered; exercise, nutrition and exercising the mind. However in my experience I have decided that there is at least one more section. This section is to do with rest and stress relief.

I always used to go around in this cycle:

Good nutrition, lots of exercise, work hard in studies and then get sick...
You see this lifestyle can create a lot of stress because you are always going at break neck speed.

So it is important to make some time for yourself each day, where the computer is off. In this time try to cut yourself off from your busy life and enjoy slowing down. This I guess could be seen as "unwinding" at the end of the day.

In answer to your question I think you should take part in interact club, as it is such a good oppertunity to help people, it will allow you to meet new people and also it will look great on your personal statement when applying for college.

As for the joining more orders idea, I think you should wait. You have been so patient here in terms of "moving up the ladder". Now your dream of having a padawan will soon come true, and I think that as you are desperate to teach you should focus that on training your padawan. Use the energy to train your padawan to the best of your ability, I have a feeling you will enjoy doing this. After you have trained your first padawan to knighthood, then conscider going elsewhere. Otherwise you will be spreading yourself too thin and possibly partly deprive a student of one heck of an educational experience.

Cody,

I am glad to hear things are going so well!

As to expanding upon where you are with regards to Jedi studies, I will echo the sentiments of the person above me. You have a lot of changes going on in your life, an impending knightship, and with that a potential padawanship. You should wait to hear on that, allow your life to stabilize a bit before continuing to other sites.

That said, its also important to consider where else you would like to go wisely. Are you looking for something like what the Force Academy or Ashla Knights has to offer, for example? Are you looking to focus on working on one thing in particular, or several things overall? When looking to start attending another site, its like looking for a second home: ya gotta look wisely, and be 100 percent certain it's what you want.

My advice Cody, don't try to prepare for the future too much. The past is written in stone, the future in water, and the present in your every move. If you prepare too much for a future that might not be, then you don't do anything for today.
I'm very happy for you that you're about to be knighted, and overjoyed you're ready to teach a Padawan, but these things take time, and you don't want to rush it. Patience is a virtue that is as hard to come by as it is to keep. Wait for these things, and the opportunities to fulfill them will be opened to you, but it will be your choice to do them.

I say you should take part in what you foresaw, it can be of great assistance and help to others, and for bringing more people together.

Thanks Faiju, that is some good advice. I have begun the process of learning to do such things.

If I were you, I would do what I wanted. If you WANT to follow your dream, do it. If you aren't sure, perhaps think about it and eventually you will know what you want to do. Live without regrets, that is my advice ... Although sometimes we can't help the situation you are in complete control of this decision.
